Craig Clark, pharmacist and owner of Clark’s Pharmacy, conducts an interactive discussion on safety with your personal medications. During the talk, he will discuss your personal medication safety, safe storage or you medication and keeping your medications safe from others.
Taking medications as prescribed is crucial to your treatment and health. He will discuss reliable information sources, and what to do if your medication looks different than you remember. Also we will review how to prevent accidental poisonings in adults, and the importance of communicating and coordinating your medication information with your healthcare team. There will also be discussion on the need to carry a list of medications with you at all times and getting a yearly medication checkup. We will consider the safest places to store your medications in your home to prevent potential theft or misuse. This is a very interactive and open forum, so please bring any questions that you may have concerning your medications, use and safety.
